On Sunday 12th February 2017 I enjoyed a sumptuous 7 course degustation menu at The Loch in Berrima in the Southern Highlands region of NSW.

Brigid Kennedy is the owner, chef and farmer at The Loch and the new Foodie Field Days are a rich experience of outstanding local growers and foodies. Brigid is passionate about her bounty of fresh garden and field produce grown on The Loch Farm and uses all her own ingredients and those from local producers in her wonderful food.

The weather was warm and the long tables had been set up in the shade of the pines in the garden valley. Towards the end of the day the weather did turn cold, with a southerly wind blowing through, but we all enjoyed the day.
